We had to pick a painting on the wall and draw it.

Glynn Vivian was an art collector who became blind.
We had to give our opinions on the portrait.
We had to choose one of the artefacts that interested us and sketch it.

Some of us chose to draw the cow creamery collection.
They were quite tricky to draw because there was a great deal of detail.
I drew a plate. I had to take my time to capture all the detail.

The colours were difficult to mix though.
In this painting, the sea was rough and the colours were quite dull.

We had to go back to the workshop to paint our sketches.

We all painted our sketches - it was enjoyable but more difficult than we expected. 
I was really pleased with what I achieved.
I chose the garden - it was very difficult to stop the colours from running into each other.
